At SUI, one of our core values states that “We are committed to our people machine.” One way we show that commitment is by investing in our employees’ success and rewarding excellent performance. Today we are happy to announce the promotions of two of our branch office General Managers to the roles of Regional Managers.

Greg Maddox has been promoted to the new role of Northeast Regional Manager of Satellites Unlimited. In his new role, Greg will support field operations across 4 SUI branch offices—Attalla, Auburn, Birmingham, and Huntsville. Greg joined the SUI family 16 years ago and has played a key role in SUI’s growth over the years. He holds a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) certification from the Association of Talent Development. Greg has taken on a number of roles throughout his longstanding career with SUI including Technician, Field Service Manager, Corporate Trainer, Manager of Technician Development, Safety Manager, and General Manager of the Huntsville branch office.

Greg is most excited about the opportunity to work with more offices and more technicians. He says that working at SUI has been a life-changing experience for him and his family, and he looks forward to helping others realize the same types of successes he has as a member of our team.

Alex Goebel has been promoted to the new role of Southeast Regional Manager. In this role, Alex will support field operations across 4 SUI branch offices—Crestview, Dothan, Mobile, and Montgomery. Alex joined SUI in 2015 as the General Manager of SUI’s Birmingham branch office and brought 12 years of field services industry experience to the role. Alex began his career in the industry as a Service Technician for an HVAC filtration company and was quickly promoted to Regional Manager covering parts of Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, Florida, and Georgia. He also worked multiple years as General Manager for Sears in-home services and was responsible for the Birmingham and Tuscaloosa markets.

Alex graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelors in Business Management.
