Ocala's Daniel Wiener has played golf since a very young age and has had the privilege of playing all over the country. His journey started when as a young man in Ohio, Dan's mom introduced him to the game. She worked at the local courthouse and would drop him off for the day to hit the links. Dan became very good and this has provided him with a lifetime of opportunities, traveling the country.
Dan is no stranger to the realm of customer service either. He started his customer service career with the company GameStop. Through the years, Dan moved up within the organization, eventually becoming a member of the corporate team and relocating to California. His primary responsibility was to open new locations all along the West coast, ensuring each setup would provide the level of service notorious with the brand. During the time that Dan was out on the West coast, his parents moved from Ohio to a retirement community in Central Florida. After enjoying ten years of West coast weather and many of the 921 golf courses throughout California, Dan joined his parents in the state that boasts the most golf courses in the U.S.
Dan's outgoing personality was the perfect fit for the technician role when he joined our team on 6/22/2018. He said that the outdoor lifestyle, variety of work, and the ability to meet different people daily, was what appealed to him pertaining to this line of work. He loves being able to focus on one customer at a time and finds joy in building that rapport while on site. Whether they play golf or are huge Michigan fans (Dan of course loves Ohio State); Dan finds commonalities of discussion at every turn.
Dan approaches each day as a business owner. He studies his metrics and seeks every avenue to diversify his revenue stream. He says that it all starts with your attitude and that "If you think positive; positive things are bound to happen." Dan is a cheerleader for our new hires and goes out of his way to welcome them to the team. His positivity has been described as infectious by some and as the Ace in the deck. Dan Wiener, the Midwest golfer and customer service guru, who traveled the country abroad, starts his day with a clear vision of hitting that hole in one on every appointment of the day.
